Our ‘Dawn’ Orange Wine is a vibrant, textural blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Gris sourced from across California’s Central Coast, including Pali Vineyard (Sta. Rita Hills) and Greengate Farms (Edna Valley). Crafted with a minimal-intervention approach, the wine combines carbonic maceration and extended skin contact on the Pinot Gris with traditionally vinified Chardonnay to create a balanced, expressive, and highly drinkable orange wine. Fermented with native yeasts and aged briefly in neutral vessels, it is bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its natural character.
Aromatically lifted, the wine shows notes of dried apricot, jasmine, and fresh citrus peel. The palate is dry, bright, and lightly grippy, with flavors of stone fruit, honeyed citrus, and lime zest carried by fresh acidity through a clean, textured finish.
